Several individuals have been killed by John Wick. At least 400 adversaries have been killed by the Keanu Reeves character in the various battle scenes, according to my count, using guns, knives, and a variety of other weapons (including animals and books). Of naturally, not every victim of the fictitious assassin is a different member of the skilled stunt team that works to bring the John Wick movies to life. Each feature includes many set pieces in which the same actors are “killed,” but some of them also have the same actors being “killed” again in a single action scene.
Keanu Reeves has a unique method of honouring those who end up “dying” the most because this is a wild aspect of the entire John Wick film series.

When I spoke with filmmaker Chad Stahelski earlier this month at the Los Angeles press event for John Wick: Chapter 4, I asked him about the titular character’s countless victims. I enquired as to which member of the 87Eleven stunt crew had been “killed” by John Wick the most frequently, and while the director was unable to specifically name the record holder, he did tell me about the gifts that Reeves gives the actors who wind up dying in particular sequences. Stahelski said,
The idea of a single performer being “killed” nearly 20 times in a scene is nuts, and it could be a fun game to play in the future watching John Wick: Chapter 4 and trying to identify the person to whom the director is referring.
Chad Stahelski continued by saying that there is also a certain person that specialises in particular types of attacks in the John Wick flicks. Dogs have played a significant role in the series from the beginning, and the director revealed to me that one team member is essentially the go-to man when it comes to engaging in combat with them. He also has a unique t-shirt of his own:
This Friday, when the highly anticipated John Wick: Chapter 4 premieres in theatres worldwide, moviegoers will be able to experience all of the excitement. There is a lot of death, but it’s also a lot of fun. Keep tuned for more from my conversations with Chad Stahelski and the cast (both prior to and beyond the release of the movie), and check out our 2023 Movie Release Calendar to see what else is coming to theatres soon.
